Caleb Neelon’s “Imagination Wall” Coming MAY 2010

Caleb Neelon has been an inspiration to Boston artists for many years, as an influential author, muralist and fine artist. Starting from the street level, he’s painted around the world, and sought out walls Brazil, India , and Iceland. Those travels inform his murals as well as his writing – he was one of the first to bring spotlight to the Brazilian street art scene.
The Imagination Wall was painted in Fall 2009 with for the Childrens Hospital Boston with input and help from the young patients. It’s part of the hospital’s innovative “Art for Kool Kidz” program (meant to “reduce stress and provide a positive distraction during long waits and painful procedures,” according to the hospital’s Web site), which creates projects like this and curates a progessive selection of art to reinforce their art therapy initaitives.
